When you have the brackets fitted securely in place now you can actually get the blind itself and fit this into the head rail. Once the blind has been securely fitted into the head rail of the bracket you can now cover up the opening with the plastic or metal cap cover. When you are fitting the blinds in position and you are finding it difficult to place them in you need to check that the brackets are truly parallel if not then move the bracket so that they are.
Ladders. The ladders are what hold the horizontal slats in place. They are threaded through each slat, thus creating a ladder look. Tapes. Typically found on wood or aluminum window blinds, tapes are unlike ladders in that they run down the front of the slats to bind them together. Bottom Rail. The end of the window blind construction, this is hardware that is used as an anchor to hold the blinds in place. The bottom rail is normally coordinated to the window blind itself.
