Groovers are used only on fabric blinds to serve as a protective covering. In some instances when groovers aren't used, weights are placed at the bottom of the slat. Ladders. This is the part that that holds the slats in place. They are inserted through each slat, hence, creating a ladder effect.
Tilt Controls and Lift Slide. These are unseen devices that allows you to close, open, let down, or raise up your blinds. Vertical blinds have slide control that makes it possible for you to slide them back and forth across the window. These controls also allow you to control the sunlight that you want to let in the room. Slats. These parts run either horizontally or vertically depending on the kind of the window blind that you have. Slats can also be made from different materials such as bamboo, wood, fabric, aluminum, or vinyl.
When you have the brackets fitted securely in place now you can actually get the blind itself and fit this into the head rail. Once the blind has been securely fitted into the head rail of the bracket you can now cover up the opening with the plastic or metal cap cover. When you are fitting the blinds in position and you are finding it difficult to place them in you need to check that the brackets are truly parallel if not then move the bracket so that they are.
If you have the cash at hand it's certainly worth investing in a set of real wooden blinds. There's nothing wrong with a faux set; for the large part they successfully mimic the finish, but they lack the character and charm. With a good set of wooden blinds you don't have the issue of them weighing the head bar rail down, as they're much lighter. This also means that you can have just one large blind covering a large window - rather than multiple blinds split into sections.
