Vertical blinds have slide control that makes it possible for you to slide them back and forth across the window. These controls also allow you to control the sunlight that you want to let in the room. Slats. These parts run either horizontally or vertically depending on the kind of the window blind that you have. Slats can also be made from different materials such as bamboo, wood, fabric, aluminum, or vinyl.
Rod. The first part of the vertical blind is the rod. This part is the horizontal bar that holds the vertical bar and allows you to adjust the blinds. Cord. The cord, the string hung from the top of the vertical window blinds, is the part that lets you adjust vertical window blind's height.
