Tapes. These can be normally found in aluminum or window blinds. Unlike ladders, tapes run down the front part of the slats to glue them together. Bottom Rail. This is a vertical blind part that is used as an anchor to hold the binds together. This is located at the end of the window blind, and normally matches the window blind.
Groovers are used only on fabric blinds to serve as a protective covering. In some instances when groovers aren't used, weights are placed at the bottom of the slat. Ladders. This is the part that that holds the slats in place. They are inserted through each slat, hence, creating a ladder effect.
